RENTAL AGREEMENTS
Agreement Overview
The Rental Equipment Department provides assistance to new or existing
commercial customers that require communications equipment for a temporary
need. The price of rental equipment is based on the type of equipment(s),
accessories, and contract term. Contracts are available on a monthly basis
and the equipment is delivered to the customers' location subject to an
applicable delivery fee.
Equipment Overview
Our Rental Equipment is in good working order and of good quality. All of our
equipment is manufactured by Motorola and has accessories available to enhance their
usefulness.
Security
Deposits
A security
deposit (at our discretion) may be required against possible damage to the equipment.
Equipment
Failures
If the
equipment should fail from normal usage, we will replace or repair the unit at our
expense. If the unit is damaged by negligence, neglect, or misuse by the customer or their
representatives, expenses incurred for the repairs or replacement will be billed.
- EQUIPMENT TYPES
Portables
Our rental stock consists of Motorola portables. Units are supplied with
antenna, battery, single-unit charger, and leather carrying case. Extra
batteries and speaker microphones are available for a nominal additional
charge.
NOTE: Leather carrying cases are recommended to minimize damage to the portables. You may
choose to NOT receive these cases. However, it a NOT RECOMMENDED practice since the
absence of these cases significantly increases the chance of damage. Damage incurred due
to the absence of this protective device is considered neglect and repair/replacement
expenses will be billed to you.
Mobiles, Control Points and Repeaters
These radio units are available by special request and require a 72 hour
notification to allow for the programming, testing and set-up of the equipment.
- EQUIPMENT
AVAILABILITY
Availability of equipment varies daily. Please call our office at 1-800-788-3867, as soon
as you are aware of the need of our Rental Equipment Department services. Since each
rental agreement is customer and frequency specific, we request at least a 24-hour notice
to complete your request.
- LICENSING
New Customers
New customers are not required to have their own license for this service. We
cover this requirement under our existing FCC license. Therefore, we require our customers
to monitor prior to transmission and refrain from explicit language.
Existing Customers
Existing customers generally operate rental equipment under their existing
FCC license.
